Development Commission

The commission is responsible for studying, investigating and appraising economic conditions and trends affecting the New Haven industry, business, commerce and its residential, recreational and municipal facilities. The Development Commission is empowered to have prepared, to review, to modify, and to approve all plans, including any amendments thereto required to be prepared and approved, by state law, by a municipal development agency, an urban rehabilitation agency, or a harbor improvement agency.

Regular meetings of the Development Commission are typically held at 8:30AM on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, in-person unless otherwise noticed.
